Hide The Heartbreak was my first single, released on February 2, 2019. I was just figuring things out and putting my sound out there for the first time. It came from a song that I wrote with my high school band, Stealing Heart, and even though I’ve grown a lot since then, that song still means a lot to me. It was the beginning of everything.

I had the honor of recording a cover of Indian Cars by Keith Secola — a song that’s truly an anthem in NDN Country. Big thanks to Keith for giving me the blessing to release it. This song has meant so much to so many of us for generations, and it was a privilege to put my own spin on it while honoring its roots.

Recording Sleepwalk by Santo & Johnny was such a fun experience, especially getting to play it with my brother, Levi Platero. This song has always been special to me, and every time I play it, I dedicate it to Ritchie, Buddy, J.P., and all the loved ones we've lost.

Dying Breed is such a killer album, and I was stoked to lay down some rhythm guitar on a few tracks. Recording with Levi and Royce at Rio Grande Studios was a blast — just good times making music with great friends. Huge thanks to Ken Riley for capturing it all and bringing the songs to life. Definitely an experience I won’t forget!

Levi Platero Band was the first album I ever recorded on with Levi and the band, and it was such a cool experience. I got to add some rhythm guitar parts to a few of the songs, and it was a lot of fun jumping into that creative space with everyone. My favorite track I played on was Vanity — that one just had a vibe that stuck with me.
